Carve out your secluded forest campsite amid the wildlife and songbirds at +10,000ft in gated Forbes Park. A large roadside shoulder area will give you some space to get ready before creating your private drive into the forest. There are a few fairly level clearings amongst the trees where you can easily put up a hammock or a tent in this secluded, pristine property. Spots of sun, lots of shade. Not affected by the 2018 Spring Fire. Close to private National Forest access for landowners only. The Park provides a small rustic community center for campers to use, with restrooms, a kitchen, RV dump/fill and free WiFi. Off-grid living in the trees at its finest! Photos are from summertime.
