The Sundance Institute’s leadership cited Boulder’s thriving arts scene, walkable downtown, and proximity to nature as key factors in the decision. But those who know Boulder well weren’t surprised. With venues spread across the University of Colorado campus and downtown’s Pearl Street Mall, the city is set to transform into a walkable cinema village, making the festival experience more accessible and integrated with the city itself.
